Today's top bridesmaids dress is...
This dress can be purchased at David's Bridal for $158 and the color is Blush.
It also is from the White by Vera Wang collection.
We have until October to make a finalize decision but I think its one of the best ones we've seen so far.
What are your thoughts ladies???
We also had the beautiful MOH try on different variations.
What I liked about this look is that it seemed to fit the "spring" time feeling of my April wedding.
As we discussed, the wedding has now changed from my original idea of purely "shabby chic" to a more "vintage chic" (: I am okay with this change and know it'll all look great!
However, I do love the black too so I'm kinda partial to them both.
So, here is another sash option that I found on the wonderful Etsy website. And there are a lot more like this. We could also consider making a sash or... We never tried on the dress without a sash. Just throwing some suggestions out there.
Today was fun! Thanks to everyone that came out
and for ppl who couldn't be there let me know what you think.

Oh the girls look beautiful! That dress goes perfect for the vintage chic theme :) I love it and I love that it's a Vera Wang dress; very classy. I personally like the etsy sash the best! Black sash makes them look more formal, white sash is very cute/spring-ish, and the pink carnation sash looks chic! They all look good. Just some thoughts :) Wish I could've been there!
ReplyDeleteJessica! Thanks for commenting so quickly! We had a blast shopping and I wish you could have been there. You said it right, the girls looked beautiful and the dress seems to look great on everyone who puts foot in it. Another good thing about the dress is that it comes with the black sash that is shown in the picture. I was just considering other options. The etsy carnation sash is being sold online for $25, which is a little cheaper than some of the other ones in the stores. One last thing to mention is that the dress has an exposed zipper on the black outlined by black fabric. Take a look on david's bridal's website if you wanna see what it looks like from the behind. (:
ReplyDeleteI like either the black or ivory sash idea over getting a sash thats a similar color to the dress. I like the contrast of either black or ivory and think maybe the pink sash would blend too much into the dress color. Would a sash like that with ivory flowers be a better contrast? Just a thought......
ReplyDeleteShopping was fun! Cant wait for the next trip.
I really LOVE love LoVe this dress! Its calling you my sweet cousin :)
ReplyDeleteI agree with Ashley. I like the idea of the black sash with either an irovy or black flower. I think it gives it a better contrast.
ReplyDeleteSoo, Sara and I went back yesterday and she tried on the same dress with a brown satin belt. I think it offered a nice contrast too. She and I thought it looked really great on her. After I go shopping with Christy I'll post those pictures for you all to see (:
